Is there a known cause why the UI of the XLIFF Manager no longer works? The table is completely messed up. That is both on my Studio 2019 and Studio 2021 installations. I uninstalled the plugin, reinstalled it, same thing.
I also tried resetting any option I could find. Right clicking the bad table exposed a menu, but not working. Trying to resize the columns didnt work.
I suspect that another component I have is messing with it, such as a recent Windows update maybe? For example, I did recently install .NET 6.0 on the machine.
It's empty. Create a project so there is something in there and it won't look like that. At least this is my experience with the app. I just installed and see this as you do:
I export one file from a project and now I see this:
If I then remove the project again all is well even when empty:
I'm sure it is some sort of refresh/initialisation issue, and a restart without a project in there puts it back to unreadable! Not serious since you'll very soon have many projects in there and probably won't see this again. But I will log it so we can see if we can fix it when we next do some work on the app.
The app has also been updated, a couple of days ago: https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/trados-studio/w/customer-experience/5584/changelog-xliff-manager-for-trados-studio
Thanks, I realized after a while that I wasnt looking for this tool anyway, but another one called the SDXLIFF toolkit. I got confused between the 2. But this one seems interesting too, so I'll investigate it.
I love this one… excellent for working with other translation environments as it manages the workflow well and creates simple xliff exchange files that almost any tool can handle without breaking them.
