No. The plugin will need updating to support the use of dictionaries from the DeepL account.

There are two reasons we have not done this yet;

1. In terms of the plugin for Trados Studio we have not had the time to address this as we're looking at other tasks which took priority.  DeepL released the API for it late last year so we do have what we need in terms of APIs.  Just need to find the time.
2. In terms of the Trados Live add-on we cannot do this because the API in Trados Live doesn't support this properly for us yet.  Probably not too far off so we'll do that when we can.

The source code for the plugin is opensource however, so there is nothing to prevent any developer from doing this.  It doesn't have to be us!

The problem we have is that we are responsible for around a hundred plugins these days and when Trados Studio receives an update (SR2 for example) that requires changes in the plugins then it takes a lot of effort to get them all updated.  Many of them are a lot more critical to a translation workflow than being able to select a dictionary (even if this is desirable) so we have to prioritise everything we do carefully.  Many of them are also very complex and cannot be fixed in a day.

We opensource almost everything we do, and we provide all the plugins we create for free.  So we'd welcome a bit of community spirit from other developers who I'm sure benefit from the example code we are regularly providing :-)
