I have just downloaded the add-in Wordlight but when I try to highlight a word, Trados crashes. I can't even click on the dropdown arrow to see what colour options there are without it crashing.

What version of Trados Studio are you using?
I tested against Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.9.18688 app version 3.0.5.0 error free.
Could it be some other use case that is causing the error that I can test for you?
Is it all files / all projects or specific to a particular project file?
When it crashes, is there an error that may help identify why this is crashing for you?

Thanks for your reply :-) I'm using Trados Studio 2021. I just opened a different project and it let me highlight one word and then on my next attempt to highlight a word, it crashed again. When I deactivate the plug-in, there are no other problems.
No error messages come up, it just freezes and I have to close down the whole programme using ctrl+alt+del, otherwise I can't do anything...
