As DeepL recently added Arabic to the list of languages it supports, I wanted to try adding it to my Trados Studio 2021. First, I could not add it at all. Then, I added it through AnyTm, but it still wouldn't work. Any idea why?
Thanks,

The answer is in the API Docs for DeepL. Here's a direct quote:
"[1] Please note that Arabic has not yet been added to the /languages endpoint because it does not yet support document translation; only text translation is supported for Arabic at this time. When document translation support is added for Arabic, we will a) remove this note and b) add Arabic to the /languages endpoint."
So the problem is that the DeepL team don't separate the requirement to have document translation from the requirement to support a language via the API for CAT tool users. So until they add this to their /languages endpoint (which is what we need to use it in the plugin) it remains unavailable to us.
