Thank you... we're looking at this now.  In the meantime please can you completely reset this plugin and download and install the latest version through the integrated appstore.  To do this please delete the following folders/files and then reinstall your plugin by using the integrated appstore in Trads Studio:

If the problem remains, can you also confirm that what you are saying is this only occurs when in Review mode?

Thanks, I reset und installed the plugin, but the problem remains.

Studio cashes in two scenarios:

1. If I open a file for review, the editor will start to load but suddenly, Studio crashes and is closed.

2. If I open a file for translation the editor opens perfectly fine. But when I want to open the AI professional plugin display via "view" - as soon as I click on the AI Professional Icon, Studio crashes and is closed.

ok - the second item makes me think this isn't a problem specific to the AI Professional plugin.  I don't know what else you have installed but I think a reset may be helpful here.

Please delete the following folders and then reinstall your plugins after making sure you have the latest ones for your product by using the integrated appstore in Trados Studio:

%APPDATA%\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins

c:\ProgramData\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins

Also, rename this folder:

c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17\

to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17_old\

Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.

I did all the steps suggested above, unfortunately the problem remains.

Is there anything that might help? Such as a complete reset of Trados Studio? Many thanks for your help!

I hope by now you will have tried a complete clean up, but if not...

Clean install... try the following.

1. Uninstall Studio
2. Uninstall MultiTerm

Now manually delete these folders if they are still there (back up your TMs, Termbases, AutoSuggest Dictionaries and Projects first in case you make a mistake):

I think that's about it for a clean install. Then reinstall.

Oh yes... and don't put back any apps you have downloaded before.  Only reinstall your apps by using the integrated appstore.

If none of that helps I suggest you log a support ticket because this app on its own does not cause this problem.  If it did we would be having a lot more disgruntled users.  There must be something else about your environment that is preventing the proper functioning of the tools.
