DeepL recognizing new sentences by line break instead of Trados segment/whole sentence

NMT translations doesn't make sense any more with formatted text (like InDesign) as line breaks in one sentence are each identified as separate new lines. Changing the source file is excluded (additional manual step, nee to have InDesign). The issue occurs since the last plugin update. DeepL Support sends to RWS and RWS Support to DeepL :( How can we ignore formatting to get translations by Trados segments/whole sentences?

In this case, the translation is redundant (correct: the first line in the target; no need for the second line):

Screenshot showing a text translation issue where a sentence in German is incorrectly split into multiple lines, resulting in a redundant translation in French.

I ran a quick test and DeepL gets me this:

Screenshot showing a comparison of two translations. On the left, German text with a line break error before 'die Pedale geben,' and on the right, French translation with a similar line break error before 'pedaler comme il le souhaite.'

Compared to Language Weaver that returns this:

Second screenshot displaying a comparison of translations. The left side shows German text with corrected line breaks, and the right side presents the French translation without line break errors.

I can't comment on the translations, but I do see the problem in DeepL.  I also have not tested this in an older version of the plugin, but we will look into it. (Our reference SDLCOM-5959).

I could suggest some workarounds, but I don't think they are going to be practical without seeing the segments to make sure the changes are correct before pre-translating.
