I ran a quick test and DeepL gets me this:

Compared to Language Weaver that returns this:

I can't comment on the translations, but I do see the problem in DeepL.  I also have not tested this in an older version of the plugin, but we will look into it. (Our reference SDLCOM-5959).

I could suggest some workarounds, but I don't think they are going to be practical without seeing the segments to make sure the changes are correct before pre-translating.

Thanks for your effort. Unfortunately, the problem remains. I wish we could tell the plugin to recognize segments like Trados does and to ignore line breaks inside a sentence. 

It was working fine before, that's a pitty. I wonder what changed between the last plulgin versions. Do you have access to the code to check that?

Of course... and as I mentioned we will investigate the problem under our reference SDLCOM-5959.

Given you mention the code, perhaps you are also a developer, in which case you could review the code yourself as we do opensource the code for this plugin.  You can find it here:

Anyone can make changes and submit a pull request which we will review, and if appropriate use to continually improve the plugin.

We have fixed this in the latest build, 7.0.1.5 for Studio 2024.

Feel free to install it and give it a try.

Also, worth noting that there is a new way of tag handling options in the settings. In this case, you should select "HTML" to get the expected results:
