Just for your information, this problem has been happening on multiple TMX files, and not only this one. Some other of my colleagues are also experiencing this issue with the same Trados and plugin versions.

I have removed your file already.

Thanks for sending it in... the problem was easy to fix once I spotted it and now I can open all 25k segments in Trados Studio remarkably fast considering the size of the file.

If you open the file in a text editor you'll see that the problem occurs around 25k times in a line similar to this:

<prop type="x-LastUsedBy">DATASIA</prop>>

The problem is an extra ">" character after the closing tag of the first 'prop' element in each translation unit.  I'd love to know how that got in there as this is surely not the result of an export from Trados.  Did you manually put this in there?

I also can open the file just to view it in the editor. However, it is impossible to create a project with it. And I'm also unable to perform any batch task even when the file is opened in the editor.

Before I updated to the latest version, I wasn't experiencing this issue.

ok - always helps to have more context when trying to reproduce these issues.  So I can reproduce it and it is already logged with our reference SDLCOM-5965.  Now that Studio 2024 is out we should be able to get to this and fix it in due course.  Can't give a timeline, but you have the reference now so it'll be easier to follow up.
