Error when using File type definition for TMX

When trying to create a project, using File type definition for TMX, I get the following error message:

Screenshot of RWS AppStore Applications error message. Task Results show 'Convert to Translatable Format' failed with 1 error. Error: 'Internal error: Multiple tags with the same ID '5' have different start tag properties'.

This has been the case since I updated to Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.10.19084 and also to the newest version of the plugin: 3.2.0.0

Could someone help me with this, please? Slight smile

Thanks!

Daria

  • Hello Daria,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the File type definition for TMX in Trados Studio 2022 SR2. This could be due to a compatibility issue between the plugin and the new version of Trados Studio. Here are some steps you can try:

Step 1: Uninstall the current version of the plugin from Trados Studio.

    Step 2: Restart Trados Studio.

Step 3: Visit the RWS AppStore and download the latest version of the plugin.

Step 4: Install the new version of the plugin in Trados Studio.

Step 5: Restart Trados Studio again and try to create your project.

If the problem persists, it might be a good idea to use a different file type. As suggested in the context, the Word 2007-2019 file type works better and is available in both Studio 2019 and Studio 2021.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
