My version is 18, not 17, and there does not seem to be any Packages folder in my Plugins folder. Where else can I check for remaining DeepL files?

Thanks for your response. I am updated to the latest version of Trados. I have also successfully installed several other plug-ins. Only DeepL fails. I had authentication key issues, like other users on the forum, and I wonder if this is related.

Hi Zachary Maher 

As far as the change DeepL made to the API authentication methods and Trados, you need to make sure you uninstall the former DeepL app from Trados and then install the latest version of the app, and you need to make sure you select the correct plan you have with DeepL when you do the Login procedure (to my understanding there are 3 such plans).

And you can download the app from the website Appstore if from Trados it did not work properly for you: https://appstore.rws.com/plugin/24

So at this point, I advise you to make sure the app is uninstalled from Trados and then download the one from the website above and see if this way it works.

I tried to delete DeepL plug-in per the AI response above, but was not able to locate the Packages folder - this doesn't seem to exist on Windows 11. I download and get a successful installation message in the App store, but when I restart Studio, no plug-in.

How can I extract the plug-in outside of the app store? The instructions here https://developers.rws.com/studio-api-docs/apiconcepts/filetypesupport/build_the_file_type_plug_in.html?tabs=tabid-1 only apply to Windows 10. I've tried them and they did not launch the installer upon starting Studio.

I now see what you mean. I was able to delete the old version of the plug-in by launching the stand-alone Plugin Management Tool. Then I could successfully install the plug-in. Problem solved. Thanks very much for your help!
