Word spelling check not working

Question

Hello. 
 I want to use Word Spelling check because it suits my needs much better than Hunspell. Lately, it has been failing with an error message stating that Trados cannot connect to the spelling checker. Then, it either turns off spelling check while writing or switch to Hunspell. After some tries, it works fine for a while, and then back to the issue. 
 Another issue is that Trados seems to mess up my Normal template for Word. 
 I use Office 365 which means my Office applications are always updated.

Please help.

After a little research- this issue seems only to happen with 365 versions (especially if they are click to run version that are missing the correct components. 
But as you state it has onlt recently started to fail- this suggests that something is likely out of date. 
Although Office 365 should update automatically, this is not always the case. Please follow this trouble shooting and update article

This usually clears a lot of unwanted behaviour. 
 
Please also manually check in Office that updates have not been inadvertently been switched off.
