Hi everyone,
I'm not sure this is the right forum for my issue, but I am new here and don't really know where to ask.
This issue has happened to me a lot and it is getting annoying and the way I found to get around it is really wasting my time.
I usually get Word files to translate, in .docx format. When I translate them, no problem, I can create my project and use whichever memory I need. The issue arises when I want to generate the target translation: I almost always get the following message : namespace manager or xsltcontext needed. this query has a prefix variable or user-defined function.
I have no idea what it means. I searched around a little online but found mostly forums about XML and it was too technical for me.
To get around it, I save the .docx file in .doc, then translate, and the generation works. But that creates some layout issues, and I usually need to do a little rework when I transform the target file into a .docx.
Since SLD 'accepts' the .doc files and not the .docx, I am wondering whether something needs to be parameterised in Word rather than in Trados?
Oh, and I have the 2015 SLD version.
If someone can help me, I would be super grateful!
Camille
