SDL Be Global Automated Translation

Question

Hello. I need help connecting to SDL Be Global Automated Translation. I am being asked for AccountID, UserID and TouchPoint ID. Now I wonder where I can see my Touchpoint ID and what is the difference between Account and User ID?

Hi Cornelia, do you have a BeGlobal account or are you just using the free one in Studio 2014 or earlier? If you have a BeGlobal account then your administrator will be able to give you the touchpointID, userID and accountID. If you have the free one then you don't need to provide anything and should not be using that particular login.

Hi Cornelia, I think you must be referring to SDL Language Cloud and not BeGlobal. BeGlobal is no longer available in Studio 2015 unless you are using the BeGlobal product which is for companies training their own engines. 
 
Can you select SDL Language Cloud instead and then enter your credentials for that?

Hi Cornelia, 
 This language pair is not available yet. You can find the list of available language pairs here: 
 
 You might be better off using Google for this, there is a built in Google MT Provider available for this language pair which you can select in Studio 2015. You will need to get the Google API key though and there is a price attached to this based on words translated, but I think this could be one of the few ways to find MT support for this particular language pair.

 I think you just need to make sure you have the language pair you want in your list, so I just added Romanian to my list here:

Now when I add SDL Language Cloud I have any engines that are available to me listed and the Romanian one is there: 
 
 Can you try that and see whether this works for you?

Hi Cornelia, 
 First off... I put your image in so we could see it. Maybe take a look at this article which explains how to use the community for posting etc... 
 
 On your technical issue... this is just a setting which you need to apply so that MT is applied during pre-translation if there are no TM matches. So do this: 
 
 Make sure your Project Settings have this checked: 
 Then run the pre-translate batch task on your files. So you can do an entire project in one go like this

 Just on this bit Cornelia... even like you are working you should be able to apply the MT translation to your segment without having to write it all. Try Ctrl+T or Ctrl+1 (as it's the first result in the list).
