Why doesn´t my multiterm show entries in studio 2019

Question

Morning everybody, 
 I have been having a problem that Multiterm does not always show entries although they are actualy there. 
 I have gone through the forums and tried a few suggestions, such as reorganising, marking certain checkboxes, but nothing seems to help. 
 I have also updated to the latest versions of studio 2019, and multiterm. 
 I also had this problem in studio 2014 before I upgraded at the beginning of this year and hoped that this would be solved. 
 Be pleased if anybody has any suggestions or ideas. 
 If you need any more infor, please just ask.

 @ Michael Phillip Harris 
 It would be helpful to know exactly what you have tried so far to remedy the solution. 
 If Alison's suggestions don't help, then you could try disabling Lookahead 
 
 If this still does resolve the issue, maybe the problem might have something to do with where your Termbases are stored. 
 If they are on the 'cloud' or on a different drive, maybe try saving locally and see if this helps.

 Sorry - you need to uncheck the 'Lookahead' box! 
 Maybe even recreate the project (ensuring the Lookahead is disabled) and for testing- ensure you have the Termbases stored locally on the C drive. 
 Also, a s you also mention Studio crashes as well, I would most certainly check that you have added both Studio and MultiTerm to your Antivirus providers 'exception/whitelist'.

Hi Michael Phillip Harris 
 I see you have tried reorganising your termbase, which would have been my first suggestion. 
 Run a Windows repair on Studio AND on the main components of MultiTerm, as follows: 
 
 Close all SDL applications. 
 Open the Control Panel :
 
 Windows Vista/7 : Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features . 
 Windows 8 : Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program . 
 Windows 10 : Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features 
 - or type 'Control Panel' in the search line on your bottom Windows toolbar.

Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2 ) and click ' Repair' or 'Uninstall/Change' (then Yes then Repair) either on the top toolbar or on the right-click dropdown menu . 
 Restart Studio/MultiTerm. 
 
 Did you already try the above? 
 BTW this request should be in the MultiTerm forum... I expect Paul will move it there so that the experts that follow the MultiTerm forum will see your request for help...

Hi Michael Phillip Harris 
 Now you've mentioned that this is a new installation on a new computer, I would like to add that you're right that this may be a cause of the issues. 
 When you have finished installing all the new software on a new computer, it is logical to run a Windows Repair on any of your software (not just SDL's) that isn't working smoothly. Also, after a big Windows update it is a useful tool to make software run more smoothly. 
 Also, when suggested you could try disabling Lookahead, he meant to un tick the box that he indicated in his image. This usually helps Studio to run more smoothly.
