Question

Hi, I am trying to open an existing termbase and I get this message "A connection to MultiTerm Server unknown could not be established. Please check your connection settings.". Here are the details: A connection to MultiTerm Server unknown could not be established. Please check your connection settings System.NullReferenceException, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 Sdl.MultiTerm.Client.Connectors -2147467261 MultiTerm MultiTerm18 18.0.2.3266 Microsoft Windows 11 Pro NULL 1033 1252 XPS\elena 4.0.30319.42000 XPS True 33294020 MB I then try to create a NEW termbase, to check if the old ones are corrupted, and I get the message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". The app was working perfectly a few days ago. I have tried all usual method (repair, uninstall, rename folder) but nothing worked. Could you please help? Thank you Elena

 My pleasure! Suggesting this as Answer, if it worked feel free to verify it. 
 whenever I get that error message it usually means that my laptop is connected to the internet via mobile data . If you are working with mobile data on, try switching to Wi-Fi/Ethernet. 
 For some reason, Multiterm does not like mobile data, nor does it like VPNs. 
 It works fine with Wi-FI or Ethernet, though.
