HTLM code in XLIFF file

Question

I have an XLIFF file with HTML code between the texts. The texts must be translated. I have replaced the HTML code with tags in Trados. That is a lot easier (see screenshot). However, is there also an option not to show these tags at all? The HTML code is needed in the translated file.

 I think this is where you are going wrong. You should have prepared this filetype using the embedded content processor and not applied the tags afterwards. If you convert them to tags afterwards then you will obviously be stuck with them in the editor. 
 Try preparing the project after using the embedded content processor in the xliff filetype.
