Hi. Since a few days, I'm having the problem that whenever I click on the save icon in Trados or hit "Ctrl + S", it closes Trados and the error “access to autosave folder denied” pops up (I have the German version).
I contacted the technical support and did everything they suggested: run as admin, change name of the path “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio 16”, restart studio.
Nothing worked. What did work for half an hour maybe, was renaming this "numbers folder" here: “C:\Users\%username%\\Documents\Studio 2021\AutoSave\xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx”. Glad that it was working again, I deleted the folder with the numbers and told support they could close the ticket.
It worked for a day before the same folder appeared again and the same error occurred. Renamed the folder again, it worked for half an hour, same problem again. So my only workaround for now is to always have this folder open and keep an eye out – if the folder appears, I delete it, then it works, but considering it pops up again at some point, the issue is still there.
Can anyone help me pls?
