After my upgrade from .11954, everytime I confirm the first segment after starting Trados Studio, the software crash
Hello Paul Patruno
Please try to uncheck the "Enable verification of segment" checkbox in Studio > File > Options > Editor > Automation > Enable verification of segment and see if it still crashes afterwards.
Thank you,
Sorin
Ciao Paul Patruno , this might be related to an issue we have since resolved with a new release of the plugin Multilingual Excel File Type, version 1.0.2.0
If you have this plugin installed, then I recommend to update it to the latest release, version 1.0.2.0.

Hello! The same for me. Since I installed the new update (yesterday) Trados Studio 2022 craches whenever I confirm a segment.
Could somebody help please?
Either uninstall the Multilingual Excel file type from Studio BEFORE confirming any segment or delete all plugins here: C:\Users\Your_Username\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\17\Plugins by deleting both subfolders and then install them via Private Appstore again.

Did you follow the advice from Patrick? Thi is a known problem because changes were made in CU1 that caused the Multilingual Excel filetype to break, so we have updated this plugin. If you run CU1 with the old plugin it will cause the behaviour you are experiencing. The solution is simple... just update the plugin as well.
If you don't have this plugin installed then your problem is something completely different and I suggest you create a new thread so we can involve the technical support team if needed..
