How to transform an SDL XLIFF into an XLF file?

Question

Hello! 
 Probably this has already been asked, but I have to deliver am XLF file immediately and I am stuck... don't know how to obtain it from the SDLXLIFF on which I have worked. 
 I pressed "Save as..." but there is no XLF option. Can someone help urgently?

 What was the original format of the file? 
 If it was .xlf then all you need to do is save to Target and this will generate a translated .xlf file

 I'm pretty sure that .xlf and .xliff are the same thing so an .xliff should be fine. Alternatively, once you've generated an .xliff with xliff manager, you can change the file extension manually from .xliff to .xlf. 
 If they're asking for .xlf it's because they have MemoQ, it can definitely work with .xlf AND .xliff, I believe.
