Do I need to deactivate my license first?
It is best to do this. If you don't, you may find you cannot reactivate your software. Also note that even if you do, there can sometimes be problems, in which case go to the licensing & installation forum and post the problem as a new thread without sharing any private details (we know who you are) and the support team will assist you.
What is the procedure regarding Trados?
That's it in a nutshell for installation,
For your resources and projects... take a copy of all your Translation Memories, Termbases, Projects (if you want to take them over) and put them into a suitable location on the new computer. If your computer name and folder structure are exactly the same on both computers then you can even take the projects.xml file from the projects folder and copy that over too... but the two computers must be exactly same. This way when you start Studio on the new computer everything will be there automagically.
If they are not... no worries... just locate them and add them where needed in your new setup.
