It is my pleasure to announce the release of SDL Managed Translation 17.5!
As a result of customer feedback raised via the Managed Translation Community, we have made the following optimizations when selecting source and target languages from the Create a Project page: -
- Where a user has more than six source languages to select from, they are now presented as a drop-down list
- Users can now choose an alternative display when selecting target languages. The new display allows a user to type and search in order to select the required languages. In order to access the new language display, users should check the Use alternative language display when creating projects from the Edit User Settings page.
In addition, we have also enhanced the information available for customers working with the Online Review feature in Managed Translation. From the Project Details page, users can now view the following information for files that require Review and/or Final Sign-off within a project: -
- The user, or group of users, assigned to each stage
- The deadline for that stage, where one has been specified
- The date a file arrived at the stage, ready for the reviewer to start working on
- The date a file was submitted from the stage
The 17.5 update for SDL Managed Translation went live on Wednesday, 10th May 2017 so users can already benefit from the features and fixes included in this release. For more information on any of the features included in this release, please get in touch with me via the Community.
