SDL Managed Translation 18.5: Single Sign-on with SDL Identity

Dear Community,

The Managed Translation 18.5 update will go live on Tuesday, 22nd May 2018. As part of this release, we will enable Single Sign-On (SSO) for SDL Managed Translation to allow users to log in with their SDL Identity. SDL Identity is a Single Sign-On authentication method which enables you to access multiple SDL products and services using a single profile, such as SDL Managed Translation, SDL Community. and SDL Gateway.

From the 18.5 update, users will have the option to "Log in with your SDL ID", as shown below: -

In follow up to the SDL Managed Translation 18.5 release, SDL will be working to configure Single Sign-on for customers as part of a phased roll out plan. With that in mind, users should continue to log in to SDL Managed Translation with their existing credentials in exactly the same way as they have done prior to the release. Any user that has an existing SDL Identity, or registers for a new SDL Identity, will not be able to link to their SDL Managed Translation account until Single Sign-on has been configured. Please wait to hear from your SDL Account Contact at SDL before attempting to link an account to your SDL Identity.

If anyone has any questions relating to SDL Identity or the SDL Managed Translation 18.5 update, please get in touch with me directly either via the SDL Community or at iparnell@sdl.com.

Cheers,

Ian Parnell
