UPGRADE Windows 10 Windows: consequences for Multitrans?

Question

Hello, 
 My company will soon be upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and I was wondering whether this upgrade might cause any problems for compatibility with Multitrans (version 7.0.23206.1)? 
 if necessary, should we take actions - before and/or after the upgrade to avoid losing access to the programme/licences?

Hi Justine, 
 The MultiTrans Client is compatible with Windows 11. It is worth checking whether you have ' named ' licenses activated on your machine via the 'Licensing Utility' program. Select the 'view' tab and check whether there are any licenses listed. If so, take a note of the 'activation ID' and then return the license before upgrading Windows.  After the upgrade, you can then activate the license again using the same activation ID. Note that if you're unable to return your license online , we'll need to assist you with the offline return & activation process, in which case it'd be best for you to create a support case. 
 If you don't have any licenses on your machine, take a note of the server address via 'Server &rarr; License Server Definition' in the Licensing Utility. It should look something like: @xx.xx.xx.xx. You shouldn't need to do anything, but it'll be useful to know the address of your license server in case you need to re-enter it after upgrading Windows. 
 Finally take note of your server and login details in the MultiTrans Client via 'Preferences &rarr; Configure Server &rarr; Edit'. Again, you shouldn't need to do anything, but if you initially have any trouble connecting to the server after the upgrade, try removing the server from your configuration and then re-add it. This may sometimes be necessary if the configuration files become corrupted somehow.
