Symptoms: 
For tasks pre-processed using a Legacy Content Type in SDL TMS, when opening a Studio Package in SDL Trados Studio and selecting all the ITD files to open in a merged document, the GUID of the ITD file is displayed in the file tree instead of the file's actual name.

Explanation: 
During the creation of the Studio Package, if the pre-processing was performed using a Legacy Content Type, the resulting ITD files are converted to the SDLXLIFF format so that SDL Trados Studio can receive the package in its native format. Unfortunately, even before the conversion to SDLXLIFF happened, these ITD files had a wrong name.

Resolution: 
Before converting an ITD file to SDLXLIFF, the original ITD is properly renamed to match the original source file name.

SDL-hosted customers should contact SDL Support to arrange for a hotfix to be deployed.
