Download and Upload buttons of latest TMS update

Hello,

about a month ago most TMSes we use were updated to a new version where buttons are grouped so that Upload contains both Task Upload and Convert Upload and similarly Download contains Download and Download TM.

In graphic UI it seems nice and neat, but for all of us who have to download/upload multiple files a day this means one more click for every such operation. Would it be possible to ungroup these buttons again? Or have an option for ungrouping?

Thanks

Ladislav

  • Apologies for the pain caused but this is in line with SDL UI/UX guidelines.
As hopefully good news, in TMS 11.2, you can select more than one file at a time from your explorer, by holding the Ctrl button + click or even drag and drop. Hopefully this will compensate in number of clicks!
  • Hi Mariana,
yes, nice feature which was actually available via FF even before this TMS version for single files (drag and drop to Browse button) and since archives are supported there is no change in this respect. When speaking about selecting files, are there plans to implement CTRL/SHIFT and click for selecting from TMS for download? That would really help in some cases.
And still, if possible to re-evaluated the UI and provide all the buttons at least in one of possible views (large/small icons), that would be much appreciated.

    Thanks
