Have you heard about Cached TM, a new feature introduced in version 11.6? This article tells you all about it

The release of WorldServer 11.6 has brought some great improvements to our product. You can check them all out in the Release Notes. In this article, we highlight one of the greatest new feature in WorldServer, one that has improved significantly the performance during segmentation and export of WSXZ packages: the Cached TM.

In earlier versions of WorldServer, the segmentation and pre-translation processes would take up to half of the time required for the entire workflow to be processed, especially in the case of large projects and complex workflows. This was mostly due to the fact that each TM lookup retrieved data directly from the database, which slowed down the translation process considerably, especially when dealing with large TMs.

Starting with WorldServer 11.6, however, a caching mechanism has been implemented to drastically improve TM lookup times. Click on the preview below and you will be redirected to the article page in our Knowledge Center where you can learn all about it!
