I am very pleased to announce the release of WorldServer 11.8, the next compelling update for our customers. It includes many additions and improvements, such as:

• a new Workflow step to calculate the Post-Edit Distance between 2 versions of a translation, based on a wide choice of algorithms with options to specify which translation versions to compare
• update to utilize Java 17, the latest LTS release of the Java platform
• an improved installation experience, with dedicated installers for each of the individual components (WS, FTS, JasperSoft Reports, Online Editor)
• a continued focus on addressing security issues
• UI improvements: functional, look & feel, and performance
• Enhancements to the Language Weaver MT connector
