Dear all,
It is a pleasure to announce the availability of WS 11.1.0 CU4.
It contains fixes of the following issues:
WSXI-8326 | <fn> elements are no longer duplicated in target files if the original element begins in one segment and ends in another and the source asset is in Japanese and has been segmented with one of the following file types: OASIS DITA XML or Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor). |
LTB-461 | An issue with namespaces in XML assets with XPath rules that contain functions has been fixed. |
LTB-1726 | When configuring Custom XML file types, if you set "CDATA Section" as a translatable rule under Parser and select "Process embedded content found in CDATA sections" under Embedded Content, the target assets segmented with those file types are valid and no longer contain unnecessary tags when you export them. |
WSXI-8019 | Segments that come immediately after CDATA sections are no longer extracted for translation twice when the assets they are part of are segmented with the Custom XML (Embedded Content Processor) file type. |
CRQ-3799 | The following use case was fixed for Simplified Chinese and Japanese target languages too: "In XML assets processed with the Oasis DITA XML file type, the spacing is now preserved properly before locked content that is in the same segment in WorldServer, but on different lines in the source asset. The same applies to the spacing before empty tag pairs that are in the same segment in WorldServer, but on different lines in the source asset." |
CRQ-3950 | The files added to "Quote Document(s)" section during Quote creation (or change) can be removed once. |
WSXI-7661 | Translation packages which contain files with similar name (for example different files names by casing; long file names with the same name after truncation) are opened in SDL Trados Studio 2015 SR3 or Studio 2017 CU5 if they were created on WS 11.1.0 CU 4 or 11.1.1 CU 1. |
WSXI-7838 | The information in the new Create Project wizard for WorldServer and TransPort is now displayed properly even when the Compatibility View is enabled in Internet Explorer 11. |
As per our new release policy, we will be providing regular cumulative updates, allowing our customers to benefit from the latest improvements and to prevent issues. It should be installed on top of WorldServer 11.1.0.
It contains the hotfixes delivered with previous CUes.
The details about how to install it and what was fixed are specified in readme.txt of the CU.
CU4 is available on the public FTP.
