CRQ-7076 - The number of situations where tasks remain stuck in a workflow during asynchronous automatic actions such as Segment Asset or Save has been reduced.
Resolution:
You can fix these issues by upgrading to the latest version of the File Type Support (FTS) Server, available on FTP.
To do so:
1. Back up the Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.HostProcess.exe.config and Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.Launcher.exe.config files.
2. Uninstall your existing instance of the FTS Server.
3. Copy the the FileTypeSupportServer.msi installer from FTP to your machine.
4. Run the the FileTypeSupportServer.msi installer to upgrade to version 10.4.5.1624 of the FTS Server.
5. Compare the new Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.HostProcess.exe.config and Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.Launcher.exe.config files with the ones you backed up. If there are any additional properties in the new files, add them to the backup files as well.
6. Restore the backed up Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.HostProcess.exe.config and Sdl.WorldServer.FileTypeSupport.Server.Launcher.exe.config files.
7. Restart the FTS Server.
If you cannot upgrade, connect to the Customer Support Web Portal and log a case. You need an account to log a case. If you do not have an account, contact your company's SDL Support Account Administrator.
