Information:

An issue with duplicate project IDs in the WorldServer Software Development Kit (SDK) has been solved.

At the root of this issue is the WSProjectGroup.createProject method, because it creates projects that do not inherit their project group's client and project type. Consequently, some projects in a project group may contain clients and project types, while others may not. This leads to project groups being duplicated on the WorldServer 11.x user interface.

Resolution:

You can fix this issue by deploying the update to WorldServer 10.4.5, available on FTP.

If you cannot deploy it, contact the SDL Support Team:

• Sign in to your "My SDL" account.
• Log a support request via Support & Education Support.

Notes:

• All systems running WorldServer 10.4.5 and experiencing this issue should have the hotfix applied.
• The fix for this issue is also available starting with WS 11.0.1.
