What are some of the problems a translator could face when they are trying to perform their job while simultaneously studying for it?

I'm trying to gain some experience while studying as a translator but because of how my day to day life goes I don't have many chances to incorporate what I'm learning into my life, so I want to gain some insight from those with experience so I could deal with similar situations if they were to occur with me.
