Customer Advocacy for Tridion

Customer Advocacy for Tridion

It's been over two decades in the communities of Tridion, across Tridion Sites and Tridion Docs, back to when the products had different names. We've asked and answered questions, submitted product enhancements, and written hundreds, if not thousands, of blog posts. From when I first started with writing in Word, using XML, and the occasional scripting SQL database updates to eventually consulting for both Tridion products, their shared Content Delivery (Dynamic Experience Delivery) platform, as well as TMS, WorldServer, and Trados Enterprise, I've learned so much from our communities!

Having worked in business analysis, project management, consulting, product management, UX research, I'm excited to start the next part of my career as a Customer Engagement Manager. Having started as a customer of RWS (formerly SDL), it's a wonderful chance to continue in this customer-facing role!

What's new in the Tridion Community

We're trying something new yet perhaps familiar through microcommunities to create smaller groups for content professionals to exchange ideas, help each other, and innovate across their projects. We've long had Q&A sites and forums, but I miss some of the practical discussions among like-minded people and even those who don't quite agree!

Beyond Tridion with Content Champions and microcommunities

Our solutions appeal to the biggest brands and organizations across finance, regulatory compliance, life sciences, & medical devices, manufacturing & high technology, and travel & leisure. We're launching Content Champions, a space for business-focused community members such as project leads, content technology sponsors, and digital platform product owners. Everyone can learn and contribute, regardless of experience.

If championing for content and content management is part of your role, consider joining the group! Our slightly more technical spaces for Tridion Sites and Tridion Docs will remain as-is as your go-to places for product information, news, blog posts, and questions alongside (Stack Exchange hosted) Tridion Stack Exchange for Tridion Sites and Dynamic Experience Delivery questions.

Also, I'm bringing back the Content Management Partners page. This group has information, news, and material about partners related to our content technologies. Look for it under the Partners section on RWS Communities shortly.

If you're interested in blogging, email me at areyes (at) rws.com to request access. Also, reach out if you're ready to continue on your own journey as a thought leader as we're looking for customers like you to contribute to discussions as well as to join events such as webinars and user groups.

We're working on spaces targeted around certain themes or industries, starting with an upcoming Medical Devices "microcommunity."

There are more communities beyond our groups. For airline professionals, consider checking out the collaborative Yocova platform. And for those who deal with regulatory submissions, check out the non-profit forum IRISS.

What's next?

Thank you for those who have participated and contributed to the Tridion communities. Both Tridion products have shaped my own learning and career. We want to help, and we need your help, as content challenges and technologies get more sophisticated. We're not alone as we try to optimize content supply chains, implement custom or vendor solutions, to all the digital requirements of search engine optimization (SEO), accessibility, and now AI.

Are you interested in the microcommunities, discussions with industry peers, and showcasing your success stories? Join the conversation in our Content Champions and microcommunities. Ask questions, start discussions, and share your real world experiences with digital projects and content management.
