We are considering using this process so the publication cannot be modified after we send the documents out for translation. But I wanted to get feedback on others experience.
What has been your experience if you freeze a publication?
How has been versioning for the next project?
Can we use a new version of a topic withing a Frozen Publication?
I want to make sure we don't go down a rat-hole by freezing a publication. Our Japanese partners tend to modify the JA publications a lot. And we do most of that editing in-house. So, from what I can tell, freezing the baseline would require us to make new versions for every topic that needs updating.
