We are researching a way to programatically create a publication object, map object and associate both. The result is a publication ready to be used by authors.
We are aware of how to create the publication object, map object, and update the baseline to include the map via the APIs. The question that remains is whether there's an additional action to take in order for the map to be associated as the main object in the publication object hierarchy (as represented by Publication Manager's tree in the content tab).
