The functionality operates in a very similar manner from either the Browse Repository window or the Web Client and will apply to the user account which you are logged in using in either interface. Here are the steps from the Web Client. Firstly, select the component (or multi-select the components) you wish to make available to the My Favorites folder and click the Create Shortcut button. Then in the pop-up window, select the My Favorites folder - or sub-folder you have previously created beneath My Favorites where you wish the shortcut to be placed. Click OK and you will see a confirmation message. The selected components are now available as a shortcut in the selected location under the My Favorites folder, linking to their actual storage location within the repository. To remove shortcuts, select the component under the My Favorites location and click the Delete shortcut button. This has no impact on the storage of the component within the repository.
