I am tasked with changing the order of elements in the Dialog box that appear when importing an image in Publication Manager. The values come from an LOV. I experiment with changing the order in a script element. But, is there a way to specify the order, without a script doing it?

Thank you. That sounds promising. What values can sortorder take? I see an example of "ascending". I'm really looking for a way to specify which is the default element.
But, I don't see how you specify the default value.

A problem with that is that the field values are coming from an LOV. So, specifying a default value as text might be a problem if the LOV changes. It would be nice to be able to have o a validating script that makes sure the value is in the LOV an choose an LOV value if the default value is invalid. But, I have no idea how to do that, and it says the form stuff uses an internal API.
