Superscripting trademark characters in pub title

Is there a way to enter a superscripted trademark character in the publication title in Publication Manager?

Hi Dana - I would open the bookmap in XML Editor (Arbortext/Oxygen), and do the following: 
 
 In the title, select the word for which you want to add the reg or tm. 
 Add the tm or reg, press Enter, from the list of elements, select tm. 
 On the Modify Attributes, in tmtype , click reg . 
 Click OK , and check in the bookmap.

I agree, it should just be metadata, unless some custom rendering engine uses it. 
Even so, Unicode characters should work there, did you try www.fileformat.info/.../index.htm (How to type in Microsoft Windows Alt +2122)
