In Publication Manager there is a Duplicate objects button. When I duplicate a topic, the topic itself gets a new GUID, but any IDs within the elements in that topic remain the same as the original. This causes issues with xrefs to Ids within that topic.
Say for example I have a figure and a reference to that figure. In the newly duplicated topic, the xref still pints to the GUID for the original topic and the ID for the fig.
What is the point of duplicating a topic if new GUIDs are not generated?
