EPLAN Dictionary: Problems with import due to character limit

Has anyone ever translated the dictionary for the EPLAN system? In general it is easy - export the words and phrases to be translated as a .txt-file, translate in the TMS and re-import. However, if there are too many characters in the translated file upon import, the text gets cut off. That is, becaues line breaks are deleted during the export. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
