Do elements get translated?

Question

Does anyone use elements in their Tridion publications? I want to begin using this element and I want to be sure they'll get processed properly when we send the translation job through Tridion. Looking at the specs for DITA 1.2, I think I should be good. To test this out, I put in a element called “navtitle” in my map. In the topic head properties, you can see a comment generated by Tridion that suggests it’s getting processed. The element shows up properly as a navtitle when published. Can anyone verify this element gets include and processed when translated?
