Hi,
I have successfully configured a new dropdown field in my publication output window (following https://community.rws.com/product-groups/tridion/tridion-docs/f/forum/40470/how-to-add-a-new-field-to-output-properties-popup-in-publication-manager)
However, when I publish the publication output after selecting a value from the field I don't see the new field or the selected value in the generated publicationoutpu.met file.
Can anyone advise what step I might be missing?

Hi Ann,
Can you check in the 'XML Publish Plugin Settings' area whether your new field is listed in the export tag parameter for the 'PublicationOutputRequestedMetadata' parameter.
This list controls which properties are available in the publicationoutput.met file.
You can access the 'XML Publish Plugin settings' area using the following steps.
1/ Logon to the WebClient (with an account who is configured as Administrator)
2/ Select the 'Settings' option in the Main Menu bar.
3/ Select the 'XML Publish Plugin settings' option in the left hand side menu bar.
Scroll to the section export in the show configuration file and update the parameter with the name 'PublicationOutputRequestedMetadata'
Save you change by clicking the save icon above the configuration.
