I'm new to programing plugins for Trados Studio 2021. What I want to do is to program a spell and grammar checker for my company for some language variants.
So where to start (I already got a project set up in Visual Studio)?
And where can I find some references/documentation as to which commands to use to access target string in Editor and actions to underline errors.

maybe I missed something, but this seems to refer to a check where errors are listed in the error/notification list of Studio, but not for direct marking in target segments in the editor view while translating.

I’m pretty sure there is no public API available to do this.

that's bad. Inbuilt (MS Word and hunspell) spell checkers are bad for many languages and having users switching to error panel for checking grammar and spelling instead of on the fly during translation is more than counterproductive. It slows down the whole process. Trados programmers should really consider this to offer an API for such processes.
