It would be much better if you could mark any post as a suggested answer. Unfortunately this only works if you respond to the original post and in practice this isn't always relevant. You can mark as verified answer but not as suggested answer.

It is not possible to create a poll with free text answers. This would be a useful addition and provide more flexibility in gathering feedback on the questions asked.

I think we should change the filter on verified responses so that it is not the default. If you have a long thread and click on the link from a notification it then takes you quite some time, if you know what to, to turn off the filter so you can see...
