add a way to format isotopes correctly

Hi,

would it be possible to add a way to format isotopes correctly (e.g. like in Word where you insert a formula in a specific format). See this Video on how to write isotopes in Word for a better understanding.

The problem is that you need a superscript AND a subscript one upon the other.

Preparing them in Word and copying them to Trados does not work as I then get: (_1^236)U Or maybe it's just a that Trados needs to be taught to display them correctly?

Best regards,

Pascal

  • sometimes I have to transcribe or insert them as they were not included in the text but belong there. So, I don't need to change them if they are there (in that case Paul's tag solution would work) but due to bad file preparation from the client I sometimes would need to add them as they are 'missing' in source.
