I'm a single person languages services unit (SPLSU) and due to my IT setup, when working remotely have to use a local hard drive (as a reserved partition with a specific drive letter on my laptop) rather than what looks like the C drive but is in fact network storage (\\usr\redirect$\................\username\) for latency reasons. While I have the file-based TMs and TBs locally and available, I have to be responsible for their backups (I have fixed times of the week when I do the backups).
A great enhancement would be a built-in backup scheduler to handle this for me automatically at a fixed time to a standard directory (e.g. as an export to a directory on the drive that is synced with a timestamp added to the filename), as this would help ensure that there is less reliance on my personal vigilance for backups. It would be a useful addition for those who are not able to use clouds outside their IT environment, but who are using file-based rather than server-based TMs and TBs.
