Planned for Future Release

Hi  , we are currently working on an option where you can choose whether to base the progress on segments or words in the Files view. This should bring back the flexibility and accuracy that you need, including the consistency with the Editor. This will be in the next service release of Studio (Studio 2022 SR1) which is tentatively planned for a mid-year release (June or early July 2023). Would this meet the requirement?

Percentage (progress) in files does not match the percentage in the editor

Percentage (progress) in files does not match the percentage in the editor. This is annoying, if you look at the files in files and organise your work according to the information, you may be surprised when this file is opened in the editor.

I've already opened dozens of tickets with support about this, but the developers don't seem to want to address the problem. Very sad.

  • Here is my request again, it would be clearer with a picture.
When I translate and confirm a text in the editor, I usually have the percentage of confirmed semgents = pencil with a green tick at the bottom right, let's say it says 56%. If I go to Files, I see the progress, which represents my confirmed segments, and it says 67%. That differs from each other. This information is more than in the editor. It should be the same. A few years ago this was the case. It is not possible that I have two different values for confirmed segments and thus the progress.
