Also I see that you try to disable https. Does it mean you don't have SSL certificate? Did you try to select address and add http:// before localhost?

Because you need to set this flag in the appsettings_global.json, not in the appsettings.json.

Hi, after a two-month hiatus due to vacations on both ends, we are still trying to finish installation of TBM6.

So, to sum up: We followed the instructions in the video. Everything is done and configured according to the instructions, but we can't get past the 21:40 minute mark in the “Installation (Team and Essential versions)” instructional video. It tries to connect but after a while we get the message "the localhost page has refused the connection" (in Spanish).

But the file appsettings_global.json does not exist, the only one with the installation is appsettings.json. However, our IT guy created an appsettings_global.json file from scratch but the result is the same: nothing.

We have tried to look for a *.log file that gives us any indication of why the connection is failing but we can't find any.

Please help! We don't know where to go from here...

Hi Mafalda,

By default, this file does not exists, and it is created when application starts to execute. If it is not created, this means TBM executable wasn't even reached. I think it means misconfiguration in IIS, not issues with SSL certificate.

As the first step, I could advise to recheck installation manual, and probably make some screenshots of installation folder, and how you add website in IIS.

Sorry for the late delay but you wrote just when I was on vacations and I have just now seen your message. Our Operating system is Windows 10 Pro (x64bits).

Our IT company followed the instruccions of the video. I will ask them to recheck the installation manual (written part) and ask them to make some Screenshots of the installation folders and how they the website in IIS and get back to you.

Managed to solve an issue? Maybe the problem is operating system? Or https protocol. Or missing.NET hosting bundle (see system requirements). Anyway, need some additional info to troubleshoot it.
