I have recently open my first project in Trados and I have created it as a cloud project because I wanted to be able to work on it from different devices.
I've been working on it online for a week and now, when I try to open the project from Studio, I get the message "General error while accessing project" and cannot download it.
I can still access the project and work on it from the cloud interface, just not via Studio.
Any suggestions?
You can try to recreate the project from the beginning. Is it the same behavior?
Also, can you confirm on what version of Trados Studio you are on? Go to Help -> About Trados Studio and you will the version number. The most recent is Cumulative Update 9 for Trados Studio 2022 SR2 Build 17.2.9.18688.
Please add a screenshot of the error, that might help.

Actually, I've tried to recreate the project from the beginning, but this is the error that I get:

Then, I tried to create a new project from another .doc file, I didn't get any message of error, but the file was not uploaded:
I have tried with two or three files but the results was always the same.
I don't know what is happening, I had created at least a couple of project before and I had no problems.
The version I have is Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.9.18688.

It seems that you are trying to use a temporary file for the project.
My suggestion, is to try to create a Cloud Project from Trados Studio or from Cloud platform.

The project you created is a local project, for Cloud project there is a different option.
The thing is that at the moment it seems I am not able to create any project from any file present on my pc, I don't know why. I tried with multiple files and each time I did not get any error message, but the file I chose is not shown in the wizard (see the last image in my previous reply).
I also add that I've tried to create a brand new project from online, I succeded, but there is no "open in trados studio" button to click on...
On Trados, it's impossible for me to create any project, I don't know what happened!

Could you tell us what the solution was in this case? We have been having the same issue with one of our users. We thought repairing his Trados Studio installation had solved it. But it just started happening again.
Since it is related to Temp files, could it be related to Windows cleaning up? Or to a firewall or antivirus interfering with Trados Studio processes? Susprisingly we do not get complaints from any other user even though all users at our company have the same firewall and antivirus solutions.

The issue in this case might have been a temporary platform outage and also we did not get to troubleshoot the error in the end.
To try to answer to your question, yes, in most cases it's a Windows process that either blocks or deletes/cleans up temp files that are needed for Trados Studio to work correctly. Since you also mention that for other users it's working, it might be just related to one computer/user. For example different permissions or local admin rights.
Also even if there is a similar/identical error message it doesn't mean that it's the same cause and the same solution will work.
If you have a user that is experiencing this, please either raise a Support case if you have a Support Agreement or start a new thread in the Community forum, with more information.
Let me know if you open a new post, and also provide more information, such as Trados Studio version, Windows version, type of project, if creating the project in the cloud works, screenshots.
