My installation of Studio 2019 was activated with the appropriate licence key on the day of release (25 July). Suddenly, I cannot run the programme. It stops with the message 'Evaluation Expired (26)'. But I have never run an evaluation version.
When checking my account, it says there is one licence in use. Indeed activated on 25 July.
How can I resolve this, please? I know I can use an extra activation, but if I do that, I will have nothing to fall back on.

Thank you for your prompt response, Steven. Ignore the shaded bar on the left. The SDL window did not respect the task bar on that monitor. When clicking 'Activate', the key insertion window appears (as would be expected, of course).
I am getting the same issue 'License Expired ' with the latest version of Studio 2019. It happened after I tried to deactivate my license.
Now, my Studio copy deactivated, but the license didn't get credited on my account, so I have no license available and I need to work. I have just logged in a case. I just wanted to say that this is still happening.
I am running into the exact same problem. I purchased Studio 2019 on May 12 and activated it. Suddenly, I cannot run it anymore with the message "Evaluation expired (37)". Please fix this!! It is unacceptable.
Delete the Studio.lic file in this location and restart Studio:
C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio15\Data
If that doesn't help please log a case.

You have two options:
1. Submit a case using a webform2. Use live chat to get a licence reset
You want to use the second option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.

The operator said that there is a limited number of activation/deactivation a user can do (I think he said 3 times), then it is blocked by default and must be unlocked by manual intervention of SDL.
When the SDL agent reset my license, I lost the Extra Activation that was available previously. This means that every time I need to switch from Desktop to Laptop I am using one of those 3 times of automatic activation/deactivation. So, I am not happy with either the policy on activation/deactivation and the change of available activations in my account.
