MultiTerm access producing error messages

Hi,

I have been chatting with Anca for a while on an issue with MultiTerm. I can't seem to get access to it anymore. Studio seems to use it for the translation work, but trying to get in through MultiTerm is impossible. Have done all the different troubleshooting steps with no success. Both Trados and MultiTerm are of the latest 22 version. Uninstalled and restarted 3 or 4 times. Changed file names, restarted, etc. Still no go. Can someone help?

Removed the full detauils.

I think we need to start again. First of all, how are you attempting to access MultiTerm?  Double-click the termbase file, or start MultiTerm with the intention of opening the termbase from there?

Next, can you share the version numbers?  This is what you should have:

    Trados Studio 2022 SR2 - 17.2.10.19084
    MultiTerm 2022 SR2 - 17.2.3.2795

Finally for now, did you attempt a reset?

Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart MultiTerm:

    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm\MultiTerm17

If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

    www.howtogeek.com/.../
