Dear all,
I have purchased Trados Studio 2024 Freelance and installed it this morning.
Now, when I try to open the application, I keep receiving the error message "Trados Studio has not finished removing the last uninstalled plug-in. Restart Trados Studio after closing all active instances."
What I have done so far:
- I followed the instruction from the error message.
- I followed the instructions from this Support Gateway Article: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0039323
- Including any computer restarts required, I uninstalled all Trados Studio installations (2024 and previous versions) including any MultiTerm installations and tried to only install 2024.
None of these actions helped, the message kept appearing and I cannot open Trados Studio 2024.
I have then uninstalled Trados Studio 2024 and tried to reinstall 2022, which now brings up the same error message and cannot be opened anymore as well. I also reinstalled Studio 2021, and that one doesn’t even bring up any message but just won’t open.
Thus, I cannot work with any Studio version at all now.
Any help how to solve this issue would be very appreciated. Thank you.
